The leaves are graciously giving up their positions on trees. Fall Rain has a way of expediting the process. We humans are involved with our concerns while nature goes merrily along.

Rain soothes the soul. It brings the troubled heart into focus, especially with Classical Christmas music. Our year on Earth will soon pass. Another is waiting in the wings. Troubled we are as we seek comfort in institutions. Hope we have as we look skyward for inspiration. Our best efforts are flawed. God’s message of love is eternal.

Fear has an inordinate place in our psyche. We have many problems and want a leader to solve them for us. Rain gently falls. Leaves are doing their thing. Tomorrow is another day.

Christmas is nearing. We erect the Christmas Tree on Sunday. Believing in the bedrock principles of Christ’s message brings comfort. In the good days and the bad Jesus loves the little children all the little children of the world. Red yellow black and white…all are precious in his sight.
Robert Fulguhm wrote the bestseller, All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten.
‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow, reap, or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?’
I watched a documentary on the Heaven’s Gate Cult. We are susceptible to suggestions from those who have a skewed idea of life. You will recall their mass suicide as they prepared to leave Earth in a flying saucer. The history of the Cult goes back many years before the mass suicide. We humans are searching for answers.

Think.
A happy life requires our participation. No strongman is going to rescue us. Hate with the strength of water from a fire hose is wrong. We were taught it was wrong and nothing has changed.

We are diverse. Faith is diverse. If you doubt that look at the theocratic governments in the Middle East. How is it we think we have the corner on God’s Market?
